If you want to know what successful entrepreneurs do every day, simply Google the topic and you’ll find pages and pages of articles that all seem rather … similar to one another.

You’ll find answers like “eat breakfast,” “exercise,” “schedule the day,” even “show gratitude,” things we should all be doing on a regular basis and shouldn’t have to be reminded of.

You’ll also find fairly limiting advice like, “wake up before the sun,” and rules on exactly when to check your email…

Are these things really the building blocks of an entrepreneur? Is this really all it takes?

Absolutely not.

You can’t simply learn to be an entrepreneur; an enterprising spirit is something that you either have or you don’t. Fortunately, those who’ve chosen the LIMU Experience have what it takes and so much more.

The Way of the LIMUpreneur

At LIMU, we not only seaweed differently—we do business differently, too. To be a LIMUpreneur means you get to do business on your terms (#BYOB, baby!). That you’re driven to succeed while fitting your business into your life, not your life into your business.

There’s no golden rule on when to wake up, how to schedule your day or exactly when to check your email—but there are a few things you can incorporate into your daily routine that will help you build your business and find tremendous success with LIMU.

Here they are:

1. Meet someone new.

If you make it a goal to get out there and make at least one new meaningful connection a day, you’ll not only see your social circle grow—you’ll see your business grow, too. Talk to someone in line at the supermarket, attend events in your neighborhood, get active on social media and localize your efforts in your town. Take Operation #LaunchYourStreet to a whole new level by taking it a day at a time and setting a goal to meet at least one new person each day. And when the time is right, share the LIMU Experience with them in a way that’s passionate, not pushy.

2. Do work that matters.

Inventor and Renaissance man Benjamin Franklin asked himself the same two questions every single day. As soon as he woke, he started with, “What good shall I do this day?”, and at night, he asked himself, “What good have I done today?” Not how much money will I make today, not how much will I get done today, but what good will I do. LIMUpreneurs should ask themselves the same questions because doing good for others is all part of the LIMU Experience. Be a blessing to others and you can’t help but be blessed in return. When you look at the LIMU products and opportunity as the chance to change someone’s life for the better, you start conducting business a whole lot differently. A lot better, as a matter of fact.

3. Consult with a mentor—and be a mentor to someone else.

Alexander the Great was mentored by Aristotle, Plato by Socrates, Warren Buffet by Benjamin Graham—even Luke Skywalker had Obi-Wan Kenobi. You don’t have to do this all on your own. The LIMU Experience is built on people helping people, on giving others a hand up, not a hand out. The beauty of partnering with a brand like LIMU is that you’re in business for yourself, but not by yourself. No matter how capable you are, don’t be ashamed to seek out a mentor and be open to receiving advice from someone that’s been there before. Then turn around and mentor someone else in return. We all have something to learn from one another; and when you start operating this way, success is contagious

4. Stay positive.

If you know anyone who has made it big by adopting negativity into their daily routine, please let us know because they’d be the first person in the world to succeed in business with a can’t-do attitude. Like Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t—you’re right.” It’s important to stay positive each and every day and to truly believe in yourself and what you’re doing—because sometimes, that’s all you have! The pitfalls of being an entrepreneur, even a LIMUpreneur, are that things just don’t go your way sometimes. People doubt you, you hear one too many “no’s”, or you just have one of those days—it could be anything. No matter what, those that succeed in LIMU don’t let negativity infiltrate their way of thinking or their way of life: they pave their path to success with positive vibes and #goodenergy all the way. If Howard Schultz gave up after being turned down by banks 242 times, there would be no Starbucks. How many “no’s” are you willing to get through to find likeminded business partners that share your vision?

5. Effortlessly promote the brand.

One great thing about being a LIMUpreneur: you don’t even have to open your mouth in order to promote the brand. You can simply enjoy products you love and dress the part. What we wear and what we do sparks conversation and creates interest in others. So be a product of the products, and make wise wardrobe choices. If you’re living the LIMU Experience, it literally pays to rock the brand. Sport some sweet LIMU GEAR and wear it proudly, don’t be an undercover Promoter. Drink your ORIGINAL, BLU FROG and BLU 2 openly, publically even. Shake that LIMU shaker cup at the gym next time you get your LEAN on, and don’t be afraid to live your LIMU life in the spotlight—with the support of an all-star team behind the scenes!
