Commemorating the day of St. Patrick traditionally involves beverages that might never be the first choice for the health-minded, but you can still raise a glass to your health this Friday and actually mean it. We’ve come up with three delicious smoothie recipes that will give you the luck of the Irish — and the health that only LIMU can provide!

1. Shamrock Smoothie

  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 apple, peeled and chopped
  • 6 sprigs mint

2. Pot O’ Gold Smoothie


You don’t have to find the end of the rainbow to enjoy this lightly sweet, refreshing and incredibly healthy treat. This creative way to drink your LIMU Original is so good that it just might become a part of your diet year-round.


  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 4 fl. oz., LIMU Original
  • ½ cup, carrots
  • 1 cup, ice
  • 1 tsp., flaxseed (optional garnish)


3. Irish Cream Smoothie


Here’s an interesting twist on the classic flavor of Irish cream using LIMU LEAN in Creamy Vanilla, paired with full servings of fruits and vegetables. The other star here is lucuma powder, which can be found at any health food store or health aisle at your local grocery, and is an excellent sweetener alternative with a caramel-y finish.


  • 1 1/2 oz., baby spinach
  • 1 pear, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp., lucuma powder
